JAMMU, Jan 24: Three persons were arrested for uploading objectionable posts on social media in Jammu District, police said.
They said a complaint was lodged at Police Station Nagrota by one Amit Sharma son of Jagdish Raj of Chal Largan, Bajalta, on behalf of inhabitants of Village Khana Chargal, District Jammu, stating therein that some persons identified as Zaffar Hussain and Nusrat daughter of Sadiq Ahmed, both residents of Dhoon Khana Chargal and Firdous Nawaz of Khawas Rajouri at present Bajalta have uploaded objectionable content on social media platforms.
Accordingly they have been booked in case FIR number 28/2024 Under Sections 153A, 504, 505, and 506 of the IPC registered at Police Station Nagrota and further investigation started.
