JAMMU, June 19: Police today arrested three bootleggers and recovered liquor from their possession, which they had smuggled to holy town of Katra from other areas.
The bootleggers have been identified as Rohit Sanda R/o Gorkha Nagar, Ajay Singh R/o Bagh-e-Bahu and Gulzar Ahmad R/o Sudh Mahadev.
Police said the liquor, whose sale was banned in the holy town, was recovered from the accused.
A case has been registered against the accused at Katra police station.
Police parties of Katra police station made the arrests under the supervision of SP Katra Mohan Lal and SDPO Rajinder Katoch.
