JAMMU, Feb 10: Police claimed on Friday that they have arrested three drug peddlers with 23.7 grams of heroin, cash and a pistol from different areas of the district.
A police spokesperson said that while 10.5 grams of heroin along with Rs 25200 cash was seized by Police Post Tallab Tillo, 8 grams of heroin was recovered by Police Post Sidhra and 5.2 grams of heroin and a pistol was recovered by Police Post Gujjar Nagar from three people.
Police have identified the accused as Rubal Sharma alias Chimpu of Suraj Nagar Tallab Tillo, Jammu; Mohammad Ramzan of Rangooda, Jammu, and Tofiq Malik of Upper Gujjar Nagar, Jammu.
Police have booked the accused under relevant sections of the law and taken up further investigations.
