JAMMU, Oct 29: Trikuta Nagar police arrested three persons along with Rs 10,000 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Trikuta Nagar police station conducted raid and nabbed three gamblers along with Rs 10,000 stake money and playing cards last night.
The accused have been identified as Rakesh Kumar, son of Amarnath of Gangyal, Suresh Gupta, son of Ram Nath of Channi Himmat and Jagjeet Bali, son of Pushkraj Bali of Trikuta Nagar.
A case under Gambling Act has been registered against the accused at Trikuta Nagar police station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Trikuta Nagar police station Inspector Naveen Angral made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO East Mohammad Rafiq Manhas, SP South Shahzad Ahmad Salaria and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
