JAMMU, Sept 30: Three individuals were arrested with sharp-edged weapons in RS Pura area here today.
A police official said on September 29, 2024, a team of RS Pura Police Station led by SHO RS Pura along with ASI Jang Bahadur Singh and other officials during naka checking at Purana Pind Chowk, RS Pura, stopped a motorcycle for triple riding.
On checking of the driver and the pillion riders, he said, 2 sharp-edged weapons (tokas) were recovered, adding that the trio were carrying the weapons with common criminal intention.
Identifying the accused as Manoj Kumar of Purana Pind, Nishant Kumar of Sidhrey, and Roshan Kumar of Sidhrey, the police official said that they have been booked in case FIR Number 212/2024 under Section 3(5) of the BNS and 4/25 of the Arms Act registered at Police Station RS Pura and started further investigation.
