POONCH, Oct 27: Some thieves barged into three houses and decamped with some gold ornaments, cash and other house-hold items in the locality adjoining Radio Station, in Poonch City during last night.
Official sources said that some unknown thieves broke into the houses of Said Akbar, Abdul Shakoor, both sons of Mohd Sharief and Anayat Ullah, son of Attah Ullah Khan, in Radio Station area of Poonch City during the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday. All the three houses are located in the same premises and the owners had gone out of station.
They came to know about the theft in the morning when the neighbours noticed their doors broken and house hold items scattered. They reached back and then lodged a report with Police Station Poonch. They told police that some gold ornaments, house-hold items and some cash had been stolen from their houses.
SHO, Poonch, Ranjeet Singh Rao said that a case FIR No. 225/ 2022, has been registered in this connection and investigation taken up.
