POONCH, July 14: Three persons were injured when a load carrier met with an accident in Poshana area of Mughal Road today.
Official sources said that the mishap took place when the vehicle bearing registration No JK02AS- 8587 was on way to Jammu from Srinagar via Mughal Road. It met with an accident near Army Post, Poshana due to slippery road condition. The driver lost control over the vehicle and it rolled down into a small gorge.
Three persons including driver and helper with minor injuries came out safely and approached Army post Poshana for help. The Army Officer of 16 RR along with his jawans reached on the spot. Later, with the help of crane and Army jawans, the vehicle was evacuated safely by Army.
Locals and driver of vehicle highly appreciated this step of Army as they always stand for help at any time in any situation.
