3 IEDs defused in Samba

JAMMU, Dec 14: The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) today defused three powerful Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) in forward area of Chechwal along the International Border in Samba sector.
Reliable sources said the BSF had recovered the IEDs sometime back. As they contained the explosive material, it was decided to defuse them.
The BSF called a Bomb Disposal Squad, which took the IEDs to safer places and defused them this morning.
The IEDs were defused safely.
It may be mentioned here that the BSF had detected a tunnel, which had been dug by Pakistan authorities inside the Indian territory up to village Chechwal in Samba sector in July this year.
