3 injured as Tata Sumo plunges into gorge

BHADERWAH, Oct 7: Three persons got critically injured, when the Tata Sumo, they were traveling in, skidded off the road and plunged into deep gorge near Draie, here today.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK06-1069, was on its way to Chovri from Gandoh, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it landed into deep gorge near Draie area.
On getting information, police rushed to the spot and rescued the injured persons. All the injured were shifted to Gandoh hospital in police and other vehicles.
After initial treatment, all the injured were referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu for advanced treatment.
The injured have been identified as Kuldeep Kumar, son of Dharanter Singh of Thathri, Shafket Hussain, son of Mohammad Hanief of Dalmira Kharangal and Tanveer Ahmad, son of Ali Mohammad of Amrie.
The condition of the injured admitted in GMCH was stated to be out of danger, when last reports came in.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at concerned police station and investigation started.
