DODA, July 23: Three persons were injured when the tipper they were travelling in skidded off the road and plunged into gorge near village Bhaboor, here.
As per police sources, a tipper bearing registration number JK06-9188 was on its way from Doda to Dhara when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it rolled down into gorge near village Bhaboor, resulting into injuries to three persons.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and started rescue operation with the help of locals.
All the injured were shifted to GMC Doda, where they were undergoing treatment, when last reports came in.
The injured were identified as Sajad Ahmed, son of Nazir Ahmed of Dhara, Ashfaq Ahmed, son of Mohammad Lassa and Mubashir Hussain, son of Manga, both residents of Banshala.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station Doda and investigation started.
