POONCH, Sept 21: Three persons were injured when a tractor trolley met with an accident in Bedar area of Mandi in Poonch district today.
Official sources said that the accident occurred at about 10 am. The tractor trolley rolled down into a Nallah. All the three injured were taken to SDH Mandi, and later shifted to District Hospital, Poonch, after initial treatment there.
The injured were identified as Altaf Ahmed (20), son of Manzoor Ahmed, Wateem Ahmed (24), son of Sarfaraz Ahmed and Zulfiqar Ahmed (28), son of Mohd Rashid, residents of Bedar, Atoli and Nangali areas of Poonch. Police has taken cognizance of the matter.
Medical Superintendent DH Poonch, Dr Nusrat Bhatti said that two among them were referred to GMC Rajouri but family preferred to take them SKIIMS Kashmir for advance treatment, while one injured is in stable condition.
The people and relatives of the victims held protest at Mandi for non-availability of Ambulance at SDH Mandi.
