JAMMU, Mar 23: At least three people suffered injuries after they were assaulted by another group in Miran Sahib Area here on Thursday, police said.
A police spokesperson said that two families clashed with each other at Maralian area of Miran Sahib this afternoon, resulting in injuries to three people, who were taken to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu for treatment.
They have been identified as Khalda (35) wife of Mohammad Sadiq, Asmat (37) wife of Nazir Ahmed, and Mohammad Sahil (12) son of Mohammad Sadiq, all residents of Dak Banglow, Maralian, Miran Sahib, Jammu.
SHO Miran Sahib, Insepctor Zaheer Mushtaq told the Excelsior that the accused have been booked in case FIR 65/2023 under sections 451, 147, 323, 354 IPC and 4/25 Arms Act and further investigation taken up.
