3 injured in car- tanker collision

RAJOURI, Mar 24: Three persons were injured in a collision between a car and an oil tanker in Manjakote area of district Rajouri today.
A police spokesman said that at about 10:25 am today , a collision took place between a tanker bearing registration No JK02CM/ 8853 which was on its way from Jammu to Poonch and Toyota car No. JK02BH- 6199 on its way from Surnkote to Rajouri, at Upper Dehri Ralyote in sector Manjakote. Three persons on board car were injured in the accident. The Army provided immediate assistance and shifted them to local hospital.
They were identified as Nazar Hussain (35), son of Maqbool Shah; Shamshad Begum (43), wife of Manshoor Hussain and Ruksar Kazmi (22), daughter of Iqbal Hussain, all residents of Surnkote in Poonch. All the injured were later shifted to GMC Hospital, Rajouri. The police has registered a case FIR No 34/2022 u/s 279/337 at Police Station, Manjakote.
