UDHAMPUR, Aug 30: Three persons were injured in a car-truck collision near Samroli on National Highway in Udhampur district today.
A police spokesman said that a truck bearing registration number JK05E-6137 and a car bearing No. PB01A-4651, collided near Samroli in Chenani area today.
The police and locals rushed to the spot and took the injured persons to District Hospital, Udhampur.
The injured persons were identified as Etios car driver namely Arfan (30), son of Ghulam Mohammad Najar of Srinagar, Showkat (30), son of Sanaullah of Kupwara and Nasreen,wife of Chasfeed Ahmed of Srinagar. Chenani police arrested the truck driver namely Atiqullah Lone, son of Ghulam Nabi Lone of Karlhar, Kansipura, district Baramulla and registerd a FIR No. 149/2022u/s 279/337/IPC.
