RAMBAN, Dec 22: Three persons were injured in vehicles head-on collision near Kunfer nallah area of Chanderkote on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway here.

As per police sources, a Tavera bearing registration number JK05E-2674 driven by Javaid-u-Rashid, son of Abdul Rashid Bhat of Nadihal District Baramulla in rash and negligent manner hit a Alto K-10 car bearing registration JK05D-0374 driven by Syed Muneer, son of Muneer Hussain of District Baramulla coming from opposite direction near Kunfer nallah area of Chanderkote on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway today afternoon, resulting into injuries to three persons.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and started rescue operation with the help of locals.
All the injured persons were shifted to District Hospital Ramban where their condition was stated to be out of danger when last reports came in.
The injured were identified as Zubeeda Begum, wife of Muneer Hussain, a resident of Uri District Baramulla, Shreena Begum, wife of Bilal Ahmed, a resident of Rainwari Srinagar and Suraj Singh, son of Randhir Singh, a resident of Ludhiana Punjab.
A case under FIR Number 155/2021 under Sections 279 and 337 IPC has been registered at Police Station Chanderkote and investigation started.
