3 injured in road mishaps

JAMMU, Nov 15: Three persons were injured in two separate road mishaps in different parts of Jammu region.
According to a police spokesperson, a bike rider identified as Vishal son of Sham Lal, a resident of Hiranagar, today received serious injuries when he was hit by a truck bearing registration No JK02A-7566 at National Highway in Hiranagar area of Kathua district. He was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, where his condition is stated to be stable.
Two persons were also injured in a Truck-car collision that took place late last night at Bari Brahmana area of Samba district. The injured identified as Nikho Singh (25) son of Kashmir Singh and Major Singh son of Kulwant Singh, both residents of Beas in Punjab were shifted to GMCH for treatment. After providing treatment, they were later discharged.
In both the cases, the concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigations.
