3 ITBP jawans among 4 hurt in accident

RAMBAN, June 22: Four persons including three jawans of ITBP were injured here today after a private truck in which they were travelling rolled down near Kharpora village in Banihal on Jammu-Srinagar highway.
The vehicle was on way to Kashmir valley from Jammu.

Police said that soon after the accident a joint rescue operation was launched by locals, Police, Traffic Police and volunteers of an NGO and all the four injured were rescued and shifted to SDH Banihal where all of them were stated to be out of danger.
The injured were identified as driver of the vehicle Manzoor Ahmed Bhat, resident of Khanmoo in Srinagar; Gautam Sanadhan, resident of Orissa; Lakhmasi Singh, resident of Uttarakhand and Satpal Singh, resident of Uttarakhand.
Sources informed that the ill fated vehicle was a part of ITBP convoy deployed for Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra in Pahalgam, Kashmir.
