JAMMU, Sept 23: Three Engineers of Jal Shakti Department have been placed under suspension for alleged violations of Model Code of Conduct and participation in political activities.

According to an order in this regard, these Engineers are ; Younis Mohammad, Assistant Executive Engineer, PHE Sub-Division Dachhan, Hydraulic Division Kishtwar; Imtayaz Hussain, Junior Engineer, PHE Sub-Davison Dachhan, Hydraulic Division Kishtwar and Ateeq-Ur-Rehman, Junior Engineer, PHE Sub-Davison Mendhar, PHE Division Poonch.
During the period of their suspension, these Engineers shall remain attached in the office of the Chief Engineer, Jal Shakti (PHE), Jammu, till further orders.
Meanwhile, Jal Shakti Department has ordered transfer of Vishal Gupta, AE in TCC Division Jammu, RTIC Jammu to PHE Sub-Division Dachhan against available vacancy. He shall lookafter the work of AEE , PHE Sub-Davison Dachhan, Hydraulic Division Kishtwar, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
Sanjeev Sharma, JE, presently posted in PHE Division Kathua, has been transferred and posted in Hydraulic Division Kishtwar against available vacancy.
