JAMMU, Mar 31: The Government today ordered transfer and postings of three KAS officers and gave additional charge of Director Handicrafts to Rajesh Sharma, Director Handlooms.
An official order said following the retirement of Mushtaq Ahmad Shah, Director Handicrafts, the additional charge of the post will be held by Director Handlooms Rajesh Sharma till further orders.
The transfer and posting orders have been issued with the concurrence of Chief Electoral Officer, Shantmanu in view of Model Code of Conduct imposed in Jammu and Kashmir due to by-election for two Lok Sabha seats of Srinagar and Anantnag.
Bashir Ahmad Bhat, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Sopore has been transferred and posted as Assistant Commissioner (Revenue) Ganderbal, against an available vacancy.
Peerzada Zahoor Ahmad, Deputy Director, Tourism, Kashmir was transferred and posted as Sub- Divisional Magistrate, Kangan.
Sandeep Singh Bali, Deputy District Election Officer, Baramulla has been transferred ans posted as Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Sopore, vice Bashir Ahmad Bhat. He shall continue to hold the charge of Deputy District Election – Officer, Baramulla, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
