3 killed, 17 injured in different accidents

SRINAGAR, July 12: Three persons died while as 17 others were injured in different road accidents across the valley.
Reports said that an army vehicle of 14 RR camp Bandipora number 31BK/03D/56348K on way from Manigam to Sumbal hit a Piaggio Load Carrier and a motorcycle at Waskoora Bypass-Ganderbal. The mishap resulted in injuries to 11 persons.
The injured persons were shifted to hospital for treatment. Among the injured, Irshad Ahmad Bhat aged 26 years son of Muhammad Shabir Bhat resident of Dangerpora-Thiru, Ganderbal and Mehreena Mehraj daughter of Mehraj-ud-Din Rather age seven years resident of Ahan-Ganderbal succumbed to their injuries while on way to the hospital.
The bodies of deceased were handed over to their legal hairs for last rites. Ganderbal Police has registered a case in this regard.
A Tata Sumo number JK03/6023 hit and injured Parvaiz Ahmad Dar aged 10 years son of Gulzar Ahmad resident of Kokernag,-Anantnag at Soura-Srinagar. The injured was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Police has registered a case in this regard.
An I-10 car number JK03B/1080 hit and injured 12 years old Ubaid Yousuf son of Muhammad Yousuf Wani resident of Chewam-Tral at Kokernag. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
A Tractor on way from Mir Bazar to Warwan turned turtle at Margan Top-Kokernag, resulting in injuries to the tractor owner Ali Muhammad Bhat son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Hassan Pora Bijbehara. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Tanker number JK14/8405 collided with a Xylo bearing registration number JK09/6447 at Lethpora-Awantipora, resulting in injuries to four persons boarding the Xylo. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
