KATHUA, Sept 11: Three persons including a woman were killed in road accidents here today.
As per police sources, a woman identified as Meera Begum, wife of Mohammad Yaqoob, a resident of Shabe Chak Belia was killed after being hit by an unknown car.
After completing legal formalities at SDH Hiranagar, the body of the deceased woman has been handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
In another accident, an unknown male aged between 65 to 70 years was killed after being hit by an unknown motorcycle near Palli.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Kathua Police Station and investigation started.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to morgue of District Hospital Kathua for identification.
Meanwhile, a lady namely Maya Devi (60), wife of Jagdish Raj, a resident of Jagatpur was killed after being hit by an unknown motorcycle near her residents.
After completing legal formalities, the body of the deceased woman has been handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Lakhanpur Police Station and investigation started.
