RAJOURI, Oct 6: Three leopard cubs were captured by Wild Life department in Kandi area of district Rajouri today.
Official sources said that at around 10.45 am today, two leopard cubs were spotted near water harvesting tank at Khanerian village in Kandi area by a villager. He informed about the matter to the village Sarpanch and others. Later, they intimated police and Wild Life department officials at Rajouri.
After this information, a team led by a Forester Mohd Shabir reached the site and during searches, captured three leopard cubs. They were later shifted to Rajouri in a vehicle by Wild Life Department staff.
