JAMMU, Sept 28: Three persons including an old man today made an abortive bids on their lives by consuming some poisonous substance at their respective residences in different parts of Jammu region.
According to police sources, a married woman namely Pooja Devi (26) wife of Raju, resident of Akhnoor today consumed some poisonous substance at her in-laws home at Akhnoor following which he was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
Similarly, one Rajan Kumar (18) son of Moti Ram and resident of Najwal, Sarore (Jammu) also consumed some poisonous substance at his residence. He was immediately shifted to GMCH by the family members.
In another case held under the jurisdiction of Police Station Bishnah, an old man namely Chaman Lal (65) son of Thatu Ram and resident of RS Pura consumed poisonous substance after which he was shifted to GMCH by his family members.
The condition of all the three persons was stated to be stable till the last reports came in. In all three cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter and started investigations.
