JAMMU, Oct 28: Three persons including two young girls and a married woman today made abortive bids on their lives by consuming some poisonous substance at their respective residences in different parts of Jammu region.
According to police sources, a young girl namely Sangeeta (21) daughter of Rattan Singh and resident of Sunderbani today consumed some poisonous substance at her home following which she was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu.
In another case, Anju Bala (42) wife of Roop Lal and resident of Rehambal (Udhampur) also consumed some poisonous substance at her residence. She was also shifted to GMCH Jammu by the family members.
One Shabnam Bibi (25) daughter of Makhtoor Ahmed and resident of Manjakote (Reasi) also consumed some poisonous substance after which she was shifted to District Hospital Reasi. Later in view of her serious condition, she was shifted to GMCH Jammu.
The condition of all the three persons was stated to be stable till the last reports came in. In all three cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter and started investigations.
