RAJOURI, June 26: Three Medical employees posted in the office of Block Medical Officer (BMO) Darhal in district Rajouri were placed under suspension on the compliant of double drawals of their salary for the last several years besides committing other embezzlements worth lakhs.
Official sources said that on the directions of the Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri, R K Shavan, Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Rajouri, Dr Shamim Bhatti placed a Senior Assistant and two Junior Assistants, of BMO office Darhal under suspension.
They were identified as Mohd Parvez-Senior Assistant, Tasawar Hussain-Darhal Malkan and Babar Hussain from Thannamandi, both Junior Assistants. Two were placed in BMO office and one in SDH Darhal. They have been attached to the office of CMO, Rajouri, pending inquiry.
DC, Rajouri when contacted said that after receiving a written complaint, he directed CMO Rajouri to suspend all the three. He also disclosed that Addl DC Rajouri, Sachin Jamwal has been asked to hold inquiry and submit report for further action in this regard.
CMO, Rajouri, Dr Shamim Bhatti said that case pertains to double drawals of salaries and excess drawals on account of some other cases. But the things will be clear after completion of inquiry. She said action under law will be taken against the guilty officials.
