3 more booked for hiding travel history

SAMBA, Apr 21: Samba Police booked three more persons under relevant sections at Police Station Ghagwal & Police Station Samba for violation of lockdown orders while travelling from outside J&K to their native village.
A case FIR No. 33/2020 US 269/270/188 IPC was lodged at Police Station Ghagwal against one person namely Radhay Sham, S/o Chhajju Ram R/O Jatwal, Ghagwal for travelling from Jaipur to his native village Jatwal.
Police said at the same police Station a case FIR No. 34/2020 US 269/270/188 IPC was lodged against another person namely Sham Lal, S/o Dev Raj R/O Mangu Chak, Ghagwal for travelling from Jaipur to his native village Mangu Chak.
One case FIR No. 99/2020 US 269/270/188 IPC was registered against a person namely Ashok Singh, S/o Chuni Lal, R/O Satah, Samba for travelling from Ahmedabad to his native village Satah.
All the said persons have been put to quarantine Center at Ghagwal immediately with the help of Health Department. They reached their home by taking lift in trucks carrying essential commodities.
The said persons negligently promoted spreading of infectious and contagious disease COVID-19 by hiding their travel history, crossed through various prohibited hot spots areas and put lives of others at risk.
