RAJOURI, Apr 16: Three members of a family were injured while five goats were killed as thunder-storm and lightning hit them in higher reaches of Thana Mandi area this morning.
Reports said one Mohd Bashir, his wife and minor son, resident of Dharra village were injured after they came under the grip of strong beam of lightning at around 7 am today. They were standing in their Veranda when the mishap occurred. At least five goats which were there in the open under a tree were killed on the spot. The injured were removed to local Thana Mandi hospital.
