3 peddlers held with charas, codeine bottles

Srinagar, Sept 26: Police today arrested three drug-peddlers in Baramulla and recovered codeine bottles, charas, and psychotropic substances from their possession.
Reports said a police party from Police Post Wussan under the supervision of SDPO Pattan, established a checkpoint at Sultanpora Crossing.
They intercepted a person identified as Shahid Hussain Dar, the son of Ghulam Hassan, a resident of Sultanpora Pattan, according to the police.
“During checking, 8 bottles of Tusklis-T (Codeine Phosphate) were recovered from his possession,” the police stated.
Similarly, a police party from Police Station Uri, headed by SHO under the supervision of SDPO Uri, set up a checkpoint at Garkote-Laghama Crossing Uri. They intercepted a person identified as Shabir Ahmad Janiua, son of Abdul Majeed, a resident of Machi Khrud, Uri.
“During checking, 110 grams of contraband was recovered from his possession,” the police reported.
In another action, a party led by SHO Sheeri, under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Baramulla, established a checkpoint at Zandfaran and intercepted a person identified as Javid Ahmad Mir, son of Atta Mohd Mir, a resident of Laridora.
“During checking, 64 capsules of SpasmoProxyvon Plus were recovered from his possession,” the police said.
According to police, all the accused have been arrested and shifted to respective police stations and cases under relevant sections of the law have been registered.
