3 PF Commissioners brief hoteliers, others on benefits

JAMMU, Sept 10: “Nidhi Aapke Nikat” was conducted under the guidance of Rizwan Uddin, Regional PF Commissioner-I, Ajit Kumar Mishra, Regional PF Commissioner-II and Harinder Singh, Regional PF Commissioner-II, EPFO Jammu on today at NITL, Udhampur, JKTDC Patnitop for the stakeholders of J&K and Ladakh.
EPFO Jammu is servicing the entire area (J&K and Ladakh) from Jammu with regard to settlement of claims. Considering the large number of grievances and to ensure service delivery at doorstep, NITL meeting was held with various schools where grievances related to transition, various online initiatives of EPFO such as balance enquiry, filing of online claims including transfer and Covid-19 advance claims and members’ basic details were explained with hands on demonstration. Rizwan Uddin also took this opportunity to explain benefits under the newly applicable Pension Scheme and Insurance Scheme.
The next meeting was held at JKTDC Conference Hall, Patnitop with employers of several hotels where many employers were made aware about the technical processes regarding resetting of employer login, status of transfer of funds from JKEPFO to Central EPFO. In addition, Rizwan Uddin demonstrated the full process of filing of ECR, updating missing details, activation of UAN and various other services.
Various employees of EPFO including Shri Sanjeev Kumar (Enforcement Officer), Bipin Kumar (Enforcement Officer), Rajan T (DPA), Pritpal Singh (ASO), Pranav Gupta (ASO), Sanjeev Kumar (SSSA), Arpit Singhal (SSSA), Dharmendra Kumar (SSSA), Arman Alam (SSSA), Rajander (SSSA), Chiranji Lal Sharma (SSSA) were felicitated for their outstanding work.
Rizwan Uddin took queries raised by the employers relating to EPF and guided them. He called on the employers to remit EPF of all eligible employees on time so that social security cover could be extended to all employees. He also told employers to educate their employees about the benefits of EPF thus refraining them from early withdrawing the EPF.
