KATRA, Sept 22: Three pilgrims were injured when a battery operated car on Mata Vaishno Devi track hit them, this evening.
The injured were rushed to Dispensary Himkoti and then referred to CHC Katra after giving them first aid.
The battery car, bearing number KA-51-AB-4793, was going to Bhawan from Adhkawari when it hit three pilgrims at Adhkawari and injured them. The injured were identified as Bhano Dass (55), son of Irbhan, resident of Maharashtra, Romesh Uchar (47), son of Dagru of Maharashtra and his wife Radha (45).
This was apparently for the first time that an accident took place because of battery car on Mata Vaishno Devi track.
