Srinagar, May 27: Three residential houses, a cowshed and a workshop were damaged in different fire incidents.
A police spokesman said fire broke out in the workshop of Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi, son of Mehraj-ud-din Reshi of Botshah Mohalla in Lal Bazar, Srinagar, resulting in damage to a Maruti car JK01C/9453.
A joint residential house of Mohammad Yaseen Sheikh and Manzoor Ahmad Sheikh was gutted at Peerpora, Shopian. The fire also engulfed a nearby house of Mohammad Shafi Magray and both the structures were partially damaged.
A cowshed of Mohammad Amin Shah of Dangiwacha, Sopore was damaged in fire.
The residential house of Khazir Mohammad Malla, son of Ghulam Mohammad Malla at Arin, Kharipora in Bandipora, was partially damaged, the spokesman said.
