JAMMU, Dec 14: Domana police worked out two snatching cases with the arrest of three persons.
As per police sources, a woman namely Shanu Koul, wife of Rajesh Koul of Jagti Nagrota lodged a complaint with police station Domana on December 9, stating that two unidentified persons riding on motorcycle snatched her chain, when she along with her family were attending a marriage ceremony at Muthi.
Meanwhile, a lady namely Roopa Mattoo, wife of Bal Krishan Mattoo, a resident of Rajinder Nagar, near Bantalab had lodged a complaint with police station Domana on December 5 stating that two persons riding on a bike snatched her purse in Rajinder Nagar area of Bantalab.
Acting over the complaints, cases under FIR Number 377/16 and 378/16 were registered and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, some suspects were picked up and out of them, three persons broke down and confessed that they have committed the crime.
Further questioning of the accused is going on to recover the stolen items and to ascertain their involvement in other cases.
