3 students go missing from Kupwara

Srinagar, July 19: Three students from North Kashmir’s Kupwara district have gone missing while their families have appealed to them to return.
Those who have gone missing have been named as Irfan Mushtaq Wani, studying in 8th class, son of Mushtaq Ahmad Wani of Kawari Kupwara, Nasir Fayaz Dar, studying in class 12, son of Fayaz Ahmad Dar of Woskura Handwara and Bilal Ahmad Dar Wani, studying in class 11, son of Mohammad Amin of Kawari Kupwara.
The family members of these teenagers said that the trio left their respective homes for school on July 18 and have not returned since then.
“We have lodged a missing report at Hatmulla police station and we appeal to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and SSP Kupwara to intervene and see that our kids return home without any harm,” the families said.
