REASI, Nov 24: Chief Education Officer Reasi has ordered withholding of salary and attachment of three Government teachers, who were found to be actively taking part in political activities even as SDM Mahore has recommended for suspension of the erring teachers.
These teachers are; Mohd Iqbal (MS Tukson, Mahore), Riaz Ahmed (HSS Channa, Chassana) and Baji Aizaz Ahmed (PS Udhari). As per the order, salary of these teachers has been kept withheld from the month of November 2020 and in the meanwhile, these officials shall remain attached to the office of CEO Reasi.
The erring teachers have also been directed to immediately explain their position failing which stern disciplinary will be initiated against them.
Order in this regard was issued today by CEO after SDM Mahore wrote to Deputy Commissioner Reasi recommending that these three teachers be placed under suspension in view of the trio found to be actively taking part in political activities.
