3 thieves arrested, stolen items recovered

SAMBA, Sept 4: Ramgarh police arrested three thieves and recovered stolen items from their possession.
As per police spokesman, yesterday a complaint was lodged by Ramesh Kumar, son of Thoru Ram of Gurwal Morh with Ramgarh police station stating that some unknown thieves entered into his house by breaking outer window and decamped with mobile phone, wallet with Rs 2000, wrist watch, driving licence, Aadhar card, election card and other important documents.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 50/17 under Section 457 and 380 RPC was registered at police station Ramgarh and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, Ramgarh police arrested three thieves involved in the burglary and recovered stolen items from their possession.
The arrested persons have been identified as Vishal Kumar (18) of Dera Baba Nanak, Punjab, Arun Kumar Barmotra (18) and Rohit Barmotra (18), both residents of tehsil Ramgarh.
Further questioning of the accused is going on to ascertain their involvement in other theft cases.
Police team led by SHO Ramgarh SI Bansi Lal made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur Abhishek Sharma and SSP Samba Anil Magotra.
