KATHUA, Dec 5: A joint team of police and Mining Department officials seized three tractors indulge in illegal mining at Ujh river today. As per reports the joint team was led by Inspector, Sunil Sharma, SHO Police Station, (PS) Billawar under the supervision of SDPO, Arvind Kumar.
It seized three tractor trolleys loaded with sand and stones bearing Registration Number JK08K-7181, Tractor No. PB06AY-7739, and Tractor bearing Chassis No. 914S3 loaded with nallah sand was involved in illegal mining at Panjtirthi river. The seized tractor trolleys were brought to Police Station for legal action and later were handed over to Geology and Mining Department.
