3 Vaishno Devi pilgrims injured in accident

JAMMU, July 8: Three Shri Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrims got injured, when the car, in which they were traveling in, rolled down near Nagrota area of the city outskirts this afternoon.
The ill-fated Maruti car bearing registration number JKO2J 3483 was on its way from Katra to Jammu when it met with accident at Nagrota area of the winter capital, causing grievous injuries to all its occupants.
On getting information, a police party from Nagrota Police Station rushed to the spot and started rescue operation.
All the injured pilgrims were immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where they were undergoing treatment, when last reports came in.
The injured have been identified as Hans Raj, son of Omkar, his wife Seema and Sham Singh, son of Banke Lal, resident of Ratnuchak, Jammu.
A case under relevant sections stands registered at Nagrota Police Station and investigation started.
