REASI, Apr 8: The police foiled attempts of illegal mining and seized three vehicles in Reasi area today.
Official sources said that during random checking, the police teams in different locations of Reasi seized three vehicles engaged in illegal mining. During operation police seized three dumpers bearing registration number JK11F 9370, JK11E 3215 & JK11F 3771 who were found loaded with crusher sand.
During checking their mining slips, it was found that the mining slips were made on the name of block number 23 rather than of stone crusher. On this all the three dumpers were seized.
After seizure of these vehicles, Mining Officer was informed for necessary legal action.
