POONCH, Aug 12: In a special drive a joint team of police and G&M Department seized three vehicles for illegal mining in Poonch area.
Official sources said that a joint team of Police Post Ajote led by PSI Anil Sharma and Mining Department officials seized three Tractor trolleys bearing Registration numbers JK12C-2498, JK02AX-7592 and JK12-832 for illegal mining activity. The teams also destroyed the heaps of sand gathered through illegal mining.
The operation was carried out under the supervision of SHO Poonch Insp Kunal Singh Jamwal and DySP Hqrs Poonch, Pankaj Sudan.
