SAMBA, Apr 2: In continuation to its drive against illegal mining and illegal transportation of construction material, Samba Police today seized three vehicles (Dumpers) in the jurisdiction of Police Station (PS), Ghagwal which were being used for illegal mining and transportation of the construction material.
A Police team of PS Ghagwal while performing routine vehicle checking at naka NHW, Tapyal intercepted a Dumper having Registration Number JK02CR-5370 for illegal transportation of construction material (Bajri).
Similarly in another incident, Police party of PS Ghagwal while performing patrolling duty in its jurisdictional area intercepted two Dumpers having Registration Numbers, JK08K-7554 & JK21E-7751 near BaiNallah, Ghagwal for illegal transportation of mining material.
All the three vehicles intercepted by Samba Police were seized on spot and cases entrusted to Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further action.
