SAMBA, Nov,16: In continuation to its drive against illegal mining and illegal transportation of construction material, Samba Police seized three tractor-trolleys in the jurisdiction of Police Station (PS), Vijaypur, which were being used for illegal transportation of the construction material.
Acting on reliable information regarding illegal mining of construction material from Devak river-bed at Bari Kamila, Vijaypur, a police party of PS Vijaypur rushed to the spot and seized three tractor-trolleys bearing Registration Number JK21B-1005, JK21G-2157 and JK21C-4810 for illegally mining / transportation of construction material.
All the three vehicles seized by Samba police in the above mentioned incidents have been handed over to Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further action.
