UDHAMPUR, July 20: Udhampur Police today seized three vehicles, which were involved in illegal transportation of construction material in the jurisdiction of Police Post Tikri.
The seized vehicles are three tippers, having registration numbers JK02BB- 4055, JK14F- 5571 and JK14C- 1973, which indulged in illegal extraction/transporting of construction material from river bed.
The vehicles were seized by a Police team, headed by SHO Rehambal, Insp Rajesh Sharma and assisted by Incharge PP Tikri, PSI Abdul Satar, under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Sahil Mahajan.
All the seized vehicles were later handed over to the officials of Geological and Mining Department Udhampur for further legal proceedings.
The overall drive was conducted under the supervision of SSP Udhampur Dr Vinod Kumar.
