RAJOURI, Oct 25: The police seized three vehicles loaded with 20 bovine animals in district Rajouri since last night.
Official sources said that while foiling bovine smuggling bids in Rajouri area, the Police team headed by I/C Police Post, Chatyar- Chingus, PSI Sahil Chowdhary during routine checking intercepted three load carriers bearing Registration numbers- JK11E/ 5172, JK12/ 9366 and JK11A/ 2849 and found 20 cattle loaded in it without any valid permission. The vehicles were on way towards Buffliaz (Mughal Road).
Taking action in the matter, a case FIR No. 552/2022, U/S 188 IPC, 11 PCA Act has been registered against the accused persons. The vehicles were also seized.
