3 vehicles with bovines seized

REASI, Mar 29: The police seized three vehicles loaded with bovines and arrested several persons in this connection in Reasi area.
Official sources said that a police team laid from Talwara during checking at Dolsi-Jerri early morning, intercepted a Tata Mobile vehicle bearing registration No. JK20- 1092 and rescued three bovines from the possession of bovine smugglers namely Talib Hussain, son of Mir Hussain, Manzoor Hussain, son of Ahmed Din and Mukesh Kumar, son of Deep Raj- all residents of Pouni in district Reasi.
In this regards a case FIR No. 80/2022 US 188 IPC, 3/11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station, Reasi and investigations initiated. The vehicle got seized and all the three accused arrested.
Police team from Pouni during surprise checking foiled bovines smuggling attempt in Kothian area of Pouni while intercepting a Mahindra Pickup bearing registration No JK 11- 2072 and rescued two bovines. In this regards, a case FIR No. 13/2022 US 188 IPC , 3/11 PCA Act stands registered at Police Station Pouni and accused namely- Mohd Latief, son of Mohd Ismail from Marchola Tehsil Sunderbani and  Satish Kumar, son of Tirath Ram from Siot in district Rajouri got arrested . The vehicle was also seized.
In another incident, Police team from Dera Baba intercepted one Pick up  mini-truck bearing registration No. JK20B 2159  at Haji Morh while on way from Dera Baba to  Simbal Chowa, and rescued two bovines from the vehicle. In this regards case FIR No 81/2022 was registered at Police Station Reasi. The vehicle got seized and two bovines smugglers namely Mohd Qasim, son of Mohd Yousuf from Dharmari and  Mohd Arfan, son of Gulzar Ahmed from Gool, district Ramban  got arrested for illegally transporting the bovines.
