JAMMU, Nov 18: Judicial Magistrate Hiranagar, Preet Simran Kour has convicted an accused namely Rajesh Kumar alias Bindu, son of Joginder Pal of Hiranagar under 4/25 Arms Act and awarded him simple imprisonment for three years.
According to the police case, on August 18, 2008, Hiranagar Police found the accused roaming under suspicious circumstances. When subjected to frisking, a sharp edged weapon was recovered from his possession.
Accordingly, a case was registered and after completion of investigation challan was presented in the court of law. Senior Prosecuting Officer JP Singh appeared for the State in this case.
