RAMBAN, June 25: Ramsoo police today rescued 30 bovine animals and arrested a suspected smuggler.
Police sources said that a team of Police Station Ramsoo intercepted one truck bearing registration number JK-03G-8279 driven by Amir Hussain Malik son of Mushtaq Ahmed Naik of Brinal Lambar (Devsar, Kulgam) which was on its way from Jammu towards Srinagar and on checking found 30 bovine animals loaded in the vehicle with utmost cruelty.
In this regard, a case FIR Number 71/2022 was registered in Police Station Ramsoo while the vehicle was seized and its driver was arrested. Further investigation into the case was set into motion.
