DODA, Oct 5: Police today rescued 30 bovine animals and arrested two smugglers from Kashtgarh area of district.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Kashtgarh police post laid a naka near Gala Dhar and rescued 30 bovine animals and arrested two smugglers, who have been identified as Abdul Hamid, son of Bashir Ahmed Mir and Mohammad Ameen, son of Abdul Gani Wani of Top Neel.
A case under FIR number 275/13 and under Section 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act has been registered at Kashtgarh police post and investigation started.
Police party led by incharge Police Post Kashtgarh made the arrest under the supervision of SP Doda Mohammad Arif Rishu.
