UDHAMPUR, Aug 18: A Lok Adalat was held at Sub Judge Court Complex, Ramnagar under the chairmanship of Anjum Ara, Sub Judge, Chairman, Tehsil Legal Services Committee.
A bench was constituted, which was presided over by Anjum Ara, Chairman, TLSC and assisted by Nassir Hussain Tak, Naib Tehsildar.
During the Lok Adalat, 30 cases pertaining to compoundable civil and criminal nature were taken up, out of which 14 cases were disposed off. 14 Traffic challans were also taken up and disposed. A compounding fine of Rs 1350 was also recovered on the spot.
Besides this, a legal awareness camp on the rights of women and on Protection of Women from Domestic Violence (PWDV) Act was also held the court complex of Sub Judge Ramnagar.
