JAMMU, Nov 3: During the ongoing festival season, the Inspectorate staff of Drugs & Food Control Organization (DFCO), Food Safety Division Jammu, lifted 30 samples of different food items.
These items include Atta Dheru, Atta Sangara, Finniya, Katlamas, Milk and Milk products, etc, which are commonly consumed during the Navratras and festivals.
The Food Safety officers, under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Food Safety District Jammu (Rural), Ajeet Singh as per the directions of Commissioner Food Safety Division Jammu, dispatched the samples to Food Analyst Jammu.
Objective of these inspections was to ensure sanitary and hygienic conditions in the premises of sweet shops and food quality.
