30 trainee Commandants interact with IG CRPF

SRINAGAR, May 30: A group of 30 trainee Comman-dants of CRPF of 49th batch during their visit to Kashmir as a part of their training today interacted with the IG Ravideep Singh Sahi and other senior officers of CRPF.
A CRPF spokesman said that during the discussion over varied issues of national, social and operational importance, IG underlined the challenges to the internal security of the nation and expressed that CRPF would continue to deal with the security challenges with same zeal and enthusiasm simultaneously respecting human rights and sentiments of the local populace.
He said the IG also underlined the role of young Assistant Commandants as coy commander and operational leader and advised officers to think and act without prejudice and biases of caste, religion and color.
“The 49th batch of trainee officers is undergoing basic training at CRPF Officer’s Training Academy, Gurgaon and were on a study visit to the valley as a part of training curriculum,” he said.
